Do I need to book a trial?
We do require that each of our Brides please book a trial. Having a trial prior to the wedding day ensures that you and your makeup artist are on the same page about your desired look, and also ensures that you do not have any allergies or skin reactions to products used. It also aids in reducing stress the morning of, when time constraints may be in place. It gives your artist the best chance at giving you the look you desire. Trust us when we say, you will never regret booking a trial. Exceptions may be made for Brides who are traveling from out of province. Please inquire within.
All Trials are serviced in the Madi Leigh Artistry studio and can be booked online via our website. We recommend scheduling your trial 1-3 months out from your wedding date.
Do you have any minimum requirements?
For weekend wedding bookings during high season (May-October) we require a booking minimum of $800.00, or the Bride + 4 attendants. GST, makeup trials, travel fees, parking fees, extra artist fees, early bird fees & other fees do not count towards this minimum.
Depending on your getting ready timeline, a second artist may be required. Second artists are currently only available for groups 8 or higher. Extra Artist Fees will apply.
What if I don't meet the minimum number of services for my event?
There is a minimum charge of $800.00, or the Bride + 4 attendants for your event, so any events that fall under that amount due to the number of services will be charged a top-up so that they reach the $800.00 minimum. Bridal Makeup Trials, Travel Fees, Extra Artist Fees, Early Bird fees and other fees do not count towards this minimum.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long are your services?
On average, Classic Bridal makeup takes 75-90 minutes, Classic Attendant makeup takes 45-60 minutes, Elevated Bridal makeup takes 90-120+ minutes, and Elevated attendants take 60-90+ minutes. Subject to change.
Do you travel?
Yes! I offer local, inter provincial and international travel! Please click the button below for a list of my travel fees, or inquire within for an exact quote.
What makeup brands do you use?
I use a wide variety of high end brands in my kit, included but not limited to Patrick Ta, Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, Rare Beauty, Tower 28, Fenty Beauty, Mac Cosmetics, Makeup Forever, Hourglass, Smashbox, One Size Beauty, etc...
Do you offer second artists?
Depending on the number of services and your getting ready timeline, a second artist may be required. Second artists are based on availability and currently only available for groups 8 or higher. Extra Artist Fees will apply.
